trenching width: When the ground is connected, the trenching width is the outer diameter of the pipeline (D) + 0.3m; when the trench is difficult to install or backfill, the width is D + 0.5m, and the total width is not less than 0.7m. 2. Pipeline installation 1. Pipe trench bottom preparation

pressure system: the horizontal accuracy of the pipe trench bottom is low, but the soil compactness needs to be ensured; gravity drainage system: the slope needs to strictly comply with the design specifications; pipe trench treatment: if the bottom of the pipe trench is straight and there is no large stone, no additional leveling is required; the bottom of the disturbed pipe trench needs to be mixed with sand and clay with a diameter of 50mm, and the compactness needs to be consistent with the surrounding landfill materials; in shale or loose rock soil, the pipe trench needs to be overdug 150mm, backfilled with specified materials and tamped to more than 90% compactness; in unstable soils such as wet clay or sand, the pipe trench needs to be overdug 100-150mm, backfilled with original soil or specified materials to provide uniform support. 2. pipeline inspection in the trench: comprehensive inspection is required before entering the trench to ensure that there are no defects; connection method: the pipeline can be pre-connected into a 150m pipe section on the ground, using hot melt or mechanical connection; hoisting requirements: pipes with a nominal diameter < 200mm can be manually dragged into the trench; large pipes and accessories need to be lowered with professional tools, and nylon ropes are recommended for long-distance hoisting. 3. Final connection and assembly

hot melt connection: The hot melt connection in the pipe trench needs to ensure that the pipeline is cooled to the ambient temperature; Flange connection: PE pipes are connected with metal pipes and equipment with flanges, and bolts need to be pre-tightened and re-tightened after 8 hours. Third, stress testing

strength test: the test pressure is 1.5 times the pressure level of the pipe, and the pressure is passed without leakage or obvious pressure drop for 1 hour; normal pressure drop is allowed due to pipeline expansion. Water tightness test: The test pressure is 1.15 times the pressure level of the pipe, and the pressure is passed without leakage or pressure drop for 24 hours. Fourth, backfill and tamping
